Tools stolen from home

HAVERHILL — Nearly $1,400 worth of tools were stolen from a Walnut Street home sometime after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, police said.

According to Patrolman Dan Trocki, the resident went into his basement Thursday night and found tools, clothing and plastic bins scattered about. Missing was a frame nailer, router, four batteries, charger, two skill saws and a camera.



The following incidents were taken from the Haverhill police log for Thursday:

Car theft: 122 Klondike Ave., 6:25 a.m.

Assault and battery: 44 S. Kimball St., 12:13 p.m.

Arrest: Steven Cornacchio, 29, 97 Broadway, warrant for violation of a 209A restraining order, Winter Street, 12:45 p.m.

Assault and battery: Cogswell Street, 2:25 p.m.

Vandalism: 23 Cedar St., car damaged, 3:01 p.m.

Housebreak: 20 Flora St., 3:05 p.m.

Vandalism: 70 Broadway, car damaged, 3:59 p.m.

Arrest: Richard Jackson, 52, 46 Shaker Lane, Hampstead, N.H., stalking in violation of a 209A restraining order, four counts of violation of a 209A restraining order, 40 Bailey Blvd., 4:20 p.m.

Arrest: Giovanni Garcia, 21, homeless, disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, Lafayette Square, 5:30 p.m.

Arrest: Miguel Cruz, 39, 304 Washington St., driving without a license, High Street, 9:10 p.m.

Arrest: William Bouzianis, 18, 48 Portland St., warrant for assault and battery, 68 Pecker St., 11:15 p.m.
