Vandal hits South Elm Street apartment building

HAVERHILL — A vandal broke two windows at a South Elm Street apartment building at around 1 a.m. Monday.

The damage was done by a rock, police said. The owner of 160-162 South Elm St. estimated the damage amounted to $250.

Another vandalism incident was reported by a Water Street resident, who said someone used a key to scratch her car, a 2003 Ford Expedition, while she was shopping at Central Plaza the afternoon of Dec. 21.

A Winter Street woman said he pocketbook was stolen while she was at RG's Pub on Christmas Eve.



Motor vehicle accident: Barberry Lane, 6:39 p.m.

Identity theft: 23 Eastern Ave., 6:47 p.m.

Motor vehicle accident: North Broadway, 8:51 p.m.

Motor vehicle accident: Altamont Street, 9:12 p.m.
