Vandals damage car

HAVERHILL — A city man told police the rear window of his car was smashed while it was parked in front of his home on Angle Street.

Raymond True, 7 Angle St., told police he had parked his 1998 Chevrolet Venture in front of his house about 6:30 p.m. Friday.

He told police when he returned to the car about 4 p.m. Saturday he found the rear window had been smashed.

He told police he did not find any objects that might have been used to damage the window, and that nothing else was damaged or missing.

The damage was reported at 4:30p.m. Saturday, police said.



Disturbance: 11 Scotland Heights Road, 7:52 p.m.

Arrest: Kevin Danehy, 51, 9 Massasoit Lane, driving under the influence of alcohol, open container of alcohol in the vehicle, Church and Salem streets, 8:09 p.m.

Disturbance: 11 Brookdale lane, 9:47 p.m.

Car theft: 1160 Main St., 10:07 p.m.
