HAVERHILL — A Woodcock Avenue man told police he had company early Monday evening, and when they left, his wallet apparently left with them.
Philip McCarthy, of 33 Woodcock Ave., called police at 6:25 p.m. to report the theft, Deputy Police Chief Donald Thompson said yesterday.
McCarthy told police he noticed his wallet was missing after his company left for the evening about 5:30 p.m.
The wallet contained $150 cash, a $300 money order, $100 in gift cards from Market Basket, and his driver's license, Thompson said.
The theft is being investigation, Thompson said.
