Family Christmas Carnival and Craft Fair is Saturday

---- — HAVERHILL — St. Joseph School of All Saints Parish will host a Family Christmas Carnival and Craft Fair on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The school is at 56 Oak Terrace.

Lawrence Catholic Academy to have open house

LAWRENCE — Lawrence Catholic Academy, 101 Parker St., is hosting an open house and registration for nursery school through eighth grade on Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify as well as tuition Rewards Program. Child Circuit Vouchers are accepted.

During the open house, Lawrence Catholic Academy faculty, staff, and students will be available to answer questions. There will also be school tours, refreshments, and a chance to win a door prize.

Gift wrapping helps local nonprofit

Volunteers from the Katydid Foundation Inc. of Haverhill and Newburyport will man the gift wrap table at Barnes and Noble at the Northshore Mall in Peabody on the following dates: Dec. 13 to 15 from 2 to 9 p.m., and Dec. 20 to 22 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

All items purchased at Barnes and Noble will be eligible. One hundred percent of the donations benefit the nonprofit organization that provides housing for adults on the autism spectrum.

Council on Aging sets up Giving Tree

HAVERHILL — The annual Council on Aging Christmas Giving Tree is up and loaded with gift ideas for Haverhill seniors. The tree is located in the lobby of the Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St.

Please stop by and take a tag. Gifts should be brought to the Citizens Center wrapped and marked for distribution to local nursing homes. Please bring gift by Dec. 23 for distribution to seniors in time for Christmas.

Willy Wonka to be staged at Wetherbee School

LAWRENCE — The 21st Century Community Learning Center presents the musical, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 4:30 p.m. at the Wetherbee School auditorium, 75 Newton St.

Hibernians present Christmas concert

LAWRENCE — Singer, songwriter, comedian and pianist Cahal Dunne performs “The Wonderful World of Christmas” on Friday Dec. 20 from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at Reliefs In, 1 Market St.
