HAVERHILL — After a successful fundraiser last year, the Greater Haverhill League of Women Voters is accepting donations for its second annual yard sale.
Set for Sept. 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the yard sale raises money to support the league and its events throughout the year, said Eva Valentine, president of the league.
Last year's donations, which raised around $500 for the club, included kitchen items, small household appliances, golf clubs and bags, and Tupperware, Valentine said.
Additionally, Tashjian Rug at 211 Broadway has donated its property for the league to host the yard sale on, Valentine said.
"They are very generous in allowing us to use their parking lot," she said. "It's off of Route 97, so there is a lot of traffic."
