Oct. 23: Informational Talk: Question 2 Forum presented by The Committee Against Physician Assisted Suicide, 1 to 2 p.m.
Oct. 25: Fuel Assistance Forum presented by Mayor Stephen Zanni, the Methuen Veteran’s Department, Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, Columbia Gas of MA and National Grid, 10:45 a.m.
Walk for Awareness is Oct. 21 in Haverhill
HAVERHILL — A Walk for Awareness will be held Oct. 21 at 1 p.m. at Riverside Park.
The walk begins in the Lincoln Avenue parking lot. Registration and sign-in starts at 1 p.m. The walk will begin at 1:30 p.m. This is a dog and family friendly fundraiser to support children in the dialysis unit at Children’s Hospital Boston and to raise organ transplant awareness. Authors coming to Methuen library
METHUEN — The Nevins Memorial Library is happy to welcome two great authors this October.
On Saturday, Oct. 20, at 1 p.m., Mia March, author of “The Meryl Streep Movie Club,” visits to discuss her novel and take patron questions.
On Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m., Emmy-winning TV journalist and author Hank Phillipi-Ryan stops by to discuss her latest novel, “The Other Woman.”
