This fair will provide an opportunity for knitters and crafters to sell their items and for holiday shoppers to buy hand-made items.

Hillies Havoc Fit Run at castle
Hillies Havoc Fit Run is will be held Nov. 11 at Winnekenni Castle.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m. Activities begin at 9 a.m. The first of what is intended to be an annual event, the Hillies Havoc is an all-out test of endurance and agility, with four divisions negotiating a four-mile walk, run or havoc-filled eight-obstacle race course. All competitors will receive a Hillies Havoc T-shirt. Participants can walk, run or take the Havoc Challenge.
Overflow parking and bus shuttle is available from Pentucket Lake Elementary School, 252 Concord St.
Participants will support the partnership with the Haverhill YMCA and Haverhill Athletic Department that backs Haverhill youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
This event benefits Haverhill High School student sports fees and the Haverhill YMCA’s Teen Leaders Club.

Church plans Snowflake Fair
GROVELAND — Groveland Congregational Church will hold its Snowflake Fair Nov. 9 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A roast beef dinner and prize drawing is Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. This event will feature homemade baked goods and treats, handmade crafts, jewelry, good finds and prize drawings. Twenty local artisan crafters will sell handmade items. Meals will be available both days and include a Friday night supper, Saturday morning coffee shop and lunch, ending with the roast beef dinner. Tickets for the dinner can be purchased at the fair or by calling the church office at 978-372-3463. The church is at the junction of Main Street (Route 113) and King Street.
