Chamber to advertise on electric car
The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce has leased an all-electric and emissions-free Nissan LEAF, and, in partnership with Covanta Energy Inc. will be covering the car with logos and scannable QR codes linking to their websites and to those of other businesses and partners.
Chamber President Sven Amirian said the new LEAF will become a visible vehicle in the city and will illustrate the commitment of the business community to issues surrounding energy and the environment. The three-year leased vehicle will be parked prominently throughout Greater Haverhill and will appear throughout the Chamber’s 14-community service area for appointments, events and promotional engagements.
All partners will be featured and visible everywhere the car goes. In addition to a monthly QR code contest to help promote members businesses, the chamber will occasionally feature a “take your picture with the LEAF” contest to encourage the community to learn more about the green initiative and the supporting partners.
The car will be on display at the chamber’s 97th annual dinner on Thursday, June 20, at DiBurro’s in Ward Hill.
Featured keynote speaker is Dave McGillivray, race director of the Boston Marathon. Sponsorships of the vehicle are being accepted through May 23. For more information visit www.haverhillchamber.com, call 978-373-5663 or contact Beth Morrow at email@example.com.
