Drug overdose in Andover leads to warrant arrest

Breaking and entering: 55 Eutaw St., garage broken into, missing items include cordless drill, cordless battery charger, miscellaneous power tools, Husqvarna backpack leaf blower, Reddy space heater, gas can, Dell keyboard. 9:45 a.m.

Malicious damage to motor vehicle: Methuen and Appleton streets, rear passenger window smashed. 10 a.m.

Arrest: Joseph Simard Jr., 33, 1555 Bodwell Road, Manchester, N.H., trespassing, receiving stolen motor vehicle/trailer, providing a false name to police after arrest, Alder and Hampshire streets, 11:21 a.m.

Arrest: Pedro Sanchez-Torres, 26, 212 Wilson St., Haverhill, possession with intent to distribute Class A, possession with intent to distribute Class A near a school, distribution of class A, distribution of class A near a school, possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of a firearm without an FID card, Bailey St. and Shawsheen Road, 11:57 a.m.

Arrest: John King, 480 Main St., Biddeford, Maine, possession of a class A drug, Bailey St. and Shawsheen Road, 3:42 p.m.

Breaking and entering, motor vehicle: 11 Rhine St., #1, 2:19 p.m.

Arrest: Matthew Martino, 26, of 2 Museum Square, larceny of property over $250, larceny of property under $250, breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, trespassing, shoplifting, 10 Chelmsford St., 3:47 p.m.

Arrest: John Thomas McCarthy, homeless, trespassing and drinking in public, 50 Broadway, 8:51 p.m.

Breaking and entering, dwelling: 125 Allston St., 10:55 p.m.

Breaking and entering, motor vehicle: Woman reports her car was broken into while parked at Claddagh Pub, 399 Canal St. Items missing from vehicle include Garmin GPS, CD case, iPod headphones, cellphone charger. 11:37 p.m.

Arrest: Gary Johnson Jr., 38, 109 Chases Grove, Derry, N.H. illegal possession of a Class A substance, subsequent offense, possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, illegal possession of a Class E substance, conspiracy to violate controlled substance laws, illegal possession of a Class B substance, 90 Milk St., 4 p.m.
