HAVERHILL - Thieves with an eye for an iPod broke into a motor vehicle parked near the commuter train station on Washington Avenue.

At 5:44 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to the train station for a reported vehicle break. The victim told police that she had parked in the station lot and when she returned she noticed her right rear window was smashed and her vehicle had been rummaged through.
