Pedestrian hurt after being struck by car in North Andover

NORTH ANDOVER — An unidentified person was taken to Lawrence General Hospital after being struck by a car Monday morning, police said.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police Lt. Charles Gray. The accident happened near 55 Peters St. and was reported at 8:23 a.m.

The driver of the car was issued a citation for failure to use caution when passing, according to the police log. Officer Eric Sewade investigated the accident.
