DERRY — A Derry woman's registered nursing license has been suspended, but she is not yet facing any criminal charges in the death of her brother-in-law earlier this month.
Attorney General Michael Delaney announced late this afternoon the state Board of Nursing has suspended Catherine George's nursing license yesterday.
The suspension was "in response to" questions about the death of Randall Percival of Raymond Oct. 9. Percival was George's brother-in-law.
George went to Derry police Oct. 14 and told them she gave Percival 300 units of insulin, according to a press release from Delaney. George claimed to have obtained the insulin from her job, which Delaney did not identify.
A criminal investigation by the New Hampshire State Police Major Crimes Unit and the Raymond Police is ongoing.
