HAVERHILL - A 53-year-old Georgetown man died after getting out of the pool at the YMCA yesterday morning.
David Curley, of 256 North St., exited the pool and collapsed, according to Haverhill Police Capt. Alan Ratte. He was taken to Merrimack Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
At 6:52 a.m., officials at the YMCA, located at 81 Winter St., notified police of the man's collapse.
The man's body has been transferred to the Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy, Ratte said, adding that the death is still under investigation.
