There are at least two hookah bars nearby, one in Salem, N.H., and one in Pelham.

Buckley said the Methuen Board of Health decided at one of its previous meetings to revisit the city’s tobacco regulations, which have not been updated since before the statewide smoke ban was enacted about a decade ago.
