HAVERHILL — Police said a man in his early 50s collapsed after getting out of the pool at the YMCA early yesterday morning and later died.
The man was transported by ambulance to Merrimack Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
At 6:52 a.m., YMCA officials notified police of the man's collapse. Late last night, police would not release the victim's name and said they were in the process of notifying his family.
Additional information about the incident will not be released until today, police said.
