Windham teen arrested after pursuit through three towns

HUDSON — Police arrested a 16-year-old from Windham after a pursuit early yesterday through three towns that started in Derry and involved a collision with a Londonderry cruiser.

No one was hurt, police said.

Londonderry police charged the teenager with disobeying an officer, reckless operation, driving without a license, failure to yield or stop and a yellow line violation.

He was released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail with a court appearance set July 8 in 10th Circuit Court in Derry.

Hudson police charged him with disobeying an officer, conduct after an accident, reckless driving and operating without a valid license.

A court appearance in 9th Circuit Court in Hudson is scheduled July 11.

Charges also were expected in Derry.

Police allege the teenager backed into a Londonderry cruiser while fleeing.

Londonderry and Derry police halted pursuit because of the high rate of speed.

The pursuit began shortly after midnight and ended soon after.
