Snow cancellations

 

1. Lawrence public schools: No school tomorrow (Friday)

2. The ACT Test that was scheduled at Austin Preparatory School in Reading for Saturday, Feb. 9 has been postponed to Saturday, Feb.16.

3. Central Catholic High School: No school tomorrow (Friday)

4. Methuen public schools: No school tomorrow (Friday)

5. Haverhill public schools: No school tomorrow (Friday)

6. The Haverhill recycling center on Primrose Street will be closed tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday. The Citzen's Center will be open for emergencies.

7. All Methuen Youth Basketball (MYBA) events tomorrow (Friday) night and Saturday are cancelled. Events tonight are still on. Sunday has not been determined.

8. Northern Essex Community College: School is closed tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.

9. Lawrence City Hall/Municipal offices will be closed tomorrow (Friday)

10. Lawrence trash/recycling collection will begin at 5:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday) and continue until roads are no longer safe to travel.

11. UMass Lowell will close at noon tomorrow (Friday) and remain closed on Saturday. Essential personnel are to report as scheduled. A parking ban will be in effect beginning at noon tomorrow with parking in designated lots only. For more information, please visit www.uml.edu.

13. Andover schools closed, activities canceled for Saturday and Sunday.

14. Boxford elementary closed.

15. Bradford Christian Academy closed.

16. Chester Academy, Chester, N.H. closed.

17. Essex Agricultural, close. 

18. Georgetown schools, closed.

19. Greater Lawrence Technical, closed.

20. Hampstead schools, closed.

21. Lawrence Family Development, closed.

22. Londonderry schools, closed.

23. North Andover schools, closed.

24. Pelham schools, closed.

25. Sanborn Regional schools, closed.

26. Timberlane Regional schools, closed.

27. Topsfield Elemenary, closed.

28. Whittier Vocational, closed.

29. Windham schools, closed.

30. The Merrimack Valley Regional Transit Authority will suspend service early Friday, with the last bus departing at 5 p.m. Exceptions include buses for Routes 15 and 18, departing at 4:15 p.m. and Routes 21 and 51, departing at 4:20 p.m.  On Saturday, there will be no service.
