WINDHAM — Voters sent a $13 million town budget to the March 12 ballot during deliberative session Monday.
Town Administrator David Sullivan said about 35 people attended the session, which lasted about an hour at the high school.
The proposed budget would increase spending about 3.64 percent. It is projected to add about 16 cents to the $23.05 per $1,000 property valuation tax rate. Voters also will consider spending about $101,000 for renovations at the Searles Building and $175,000 for a five-ton highway truck. A grant from the state totaling $140,000 would help pay for the truck.
