Pelham man faces sex assault charges

PELHAM — A Pelham man is facing sexual assault charges.

Police said Daniel Daigle, 46, is charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault; felonious sexual assault-forcible fondling; and endangering the welfare of a child.

Daigle was arrested Wednesday.

Bail was set at $50,000 cash, which Daigle posted the next day.

Daigle is scheduled to appear in 10th Circuit Court in Salem on Thursday.

Pelham police Lt. Gary Fisher said the arrest resulted from a five-month investigation.

Fisher said the victim was known to Daigle.
