Eagle Radio launches with live storm updates

Eagle Radio is a new way for you to be updated on breaking news from the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire and you can listen right now.

“We have been at a beta stage up until today, but Hurricane Sandy gives us a natural launch point,” Eagle-Tribune Publisher Al Getler said about the online station that is a partnership between The Eagle-Tribune and Costa-Eagle Radio.

You can listen to Eagle Radio now by clicking this link http://ow.ly/eRhw7 or you can go to the home page of EagleTribune.com and click on the Eagle Radio link.

Mobile device users can download the TuneIn Radio app from their phone’s app store. Once the app is downloaded, search “Eagle Radio NE” to listen.

Eagle Radio Online provides news each day from 7 to 9a.m., noon to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. A blend of easy-listening music plays throughout the day and night when there is not a news broadcast.

“As our listenership and advertising base increases, so to will our news content.” said Getler. “News cannot be produced without a cost, so listeners and advertisers will drive how fast we expand with our partners at Costa-Eagle Radio.”
