Son of slain Chinese food delivery man arrested on drug, gun charges


They followed him to the third floor, where he was attempting to shut the door. The man, later identified as Nguyen, told police, “I have a little bit of weed.”

Police looked into the room and saw numerous bags of a green, leafy substance they believed contained marijuana. He also told police there was a gun in the bathroom.

A more complete search of the third floor turned up the following items, all of which were taken into custody: A Bersa .380-caliber series 95 handgun; six .380-caliber rounds of ammunition and magazine located in the gun; 35 .38-caliber rounds of ammunition; $3,367 in U.S. currency; a black Sentry safe; 12 plastic twists of cocaine, or about 5.6 grams; 29 Suboxone pills; seven plastic bag filled with marijuana; 15 twists of marijuana; two sandwich bags of marijuana; a bag of marijuana in the toilet in the bathroom with nearly 4 grams; a cell phone; a marijuana grinder; a black ski mask; two digital scales; a clear plastic bag with 41 grams of cutting agent; two plastic twists of cocaine, and the title to a Mercedes.
