Man flown to Boston in critical condition with self-inflicted stab wounds

NORTH ANDOVER - A medical helicopter has been called to take a critical stabbing victim to Boston.

Officials said it appears the stab wound were self-inflicted. The man was reportedly in and out of consciousness. The stabbing happened in the Oakridge Village complex off Route 114.

The helicopter landed and took off from the soccer fields on Sharpner's Pond Road.
