One dead after I-93 crash in Andover

ANDOVER -- One person is dead after a crash involving a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle early today on Interstate 93 South in Andover, state police said.

The crash occurred about 1:40 a.m. on I-93, south of Interstate 495, killing an occupant of the passenger vehicle.

The two rightmost lanes and the breakdown lane of I-93 were closed to accommodate the emergency response and crash investigation.

The crash remains under investigation.
