Man suspected of firing gun nabbed at airport

LONDONDERRY — Police this morning captured a man at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport who allegedly fired a handgun earlier in his Londonderry neighborhood.

Police identified the man as Donald Pearson of 6 Valley St.

"At this time, we do not know if any houses or other structures were hit," Lt. Tim Jones said.

Officers are still investigating. Police did not immediately disclose what charges may be pending against Pearson.

Police searched the neighborhood after receiving the report shortly before 8:30 a.m. Pearson eluded them after someone picked him up and dropped him at the airport.

The person made a 911 call to police, alerting them Pearson was at the airport. He was trying to take a car parked curbside at the airport, when police arrested him without incident.
