Small plane crashes north of Boston, no injuries

BURLINGTON, Mass. (AP) — No serious injuries have been reporter after a small plane crashed in a wooded area in Burlington, north of Boston.

Burlington police said there were two people on board. No major injuries are reported.

Aerial photos on Boston-area television stations show a small aircraft in the midst of trees and brush with a parachute extending from the plane.

The location, described by police as a non-populated area, is about a mile north of the Burlington Mall and east of Route 3, the Middlesex Turnpike.

The crash was reported at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
