Salem High graduation moved inside

SALEM — The Salem High School graduation ceremony will be held inside the school tonight.

The School Department announced this morning that because of the weather, the ceremony will be held in Davis Gym and not on Grant Field.

Each of the 350 graduates will be given two tickets for the gym and two for the auditorium, where the commencement can be viewed on a large screen.

The school's original contingency plan included rescheduling graduation for 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Graduation had to be rescheduled two years ago because of a threat of rain.
