Concerts in the Park lineup announced

ANDOVER - The 2014 lineup for Concerts in the Park has been announced by the Andover Department of Community Services.

This 50-year summer tradition takes place in The Park at the corner of Chestnut & Bartlet streets on Wednesday night’s beginning at 6 PM and is free residents and non-residents of the town.

The series kicks off on July 9 with the 60’s Invasion band, and will conclude on Aug. 13 with Andover singer/songwriter Casey McQuillen.

The other performances are:

July 16: Beyond the Pale (Irish/Celtic Rock)

July 23: 4EverFab (Beatles tribute band)

July 30: The EastWest Quartet (jazz)

Aug. 6: Ben Rudnick & Friends (bluegrass)

The series is made possible because of sponsorships from many community business partners including AndoverLaw, P.C., Andover TV, Kumon, Reading Co-Operative Bank, and William Raveis Realtor Peggy Patenaude. Sponsors will be on site at concerts with business information, while contact information, including website links, are available on AndoverDCS.com.

In case of inclement weather, the shows will be moved inside to the WWI Memorial Auditorium , 36 Bartlet St., adjacent to The Park and the Town Offices on the same date and time.
