WINDHAM — A Nashua man is in jail after leading police on a chase through three towns last night.
Alexander Bedard, 21, is charged with DWI, reckless conduct and disobeying a police officer.
It started when Hudson police received a complaint of an erratic driver on Lowell Road at 6:22 p.m. yesterday.
Several callers reported a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup truck was traveling north and was "all over the road," according to Hudson police.
A Hudson officer tried to stop the truck, but Bedard kept going, heading east on Route 111, police said.
Two Hudson officers gave chase until the truck went into Windham and that police department took over the pursuit.
Bedard continued on Route 111 until he finally stopped in Hampstead, police said.
Windham police took Bedard into custody and to the county jail, where he remains until he is arraigned on the Windham charges.
Hudson police said they will be filing similar charges against Bedard for his actions in their town.
