Sherman, Ingerson elected in Plaistow

The $7.7 million operating budget passed without a problem, 571-100.

Selectmen will see a $2,000 hike in their annual stipend, which they were hoping for. Voters approved the article, 402-267.

Voters also chose to spend $400,000 to extend a water line on Route 125, $50,000 for a new pickup truck for the highway department and $14,000 to replace the gutters at Town Hall.

After voters turned down a $150,000 proposal for a new shelter at the recreation facility last year, they approved this year’s proposal for $80,000, 363-323.
