Woman hurt in cycle crash

WINDHAM — A woman was being treated at a Boston area hospital last night for what police described as “serious injuries” after her motorcycle collided with a motor vehicle.

Windham police said it appeared the motorcycle crossed over the double yellow line on North Lowell Road, about a quarter of a mile north of Church Road. But the accident remained under investigation.

The driver of the motor vehicle did not report being injured in the crash, which happened shortly before 3 p.m.

No information was available on the identity of the motorcyclist, her age and address. Police released no other details about the crash.
