Teen riding dirt bike injured in crash with car

DERRY, N.H. — A teenage boy was seriously injured when the dirt bike he was driving collided with a car at Mill and Stark roads last night, police said.

The boy, whom police did not identify, was taken to Parkland Medical Center and was expected to be transferred to a Boston hospital. The accident happened at around 7:30 p.m., police said.

The night of May 14, a 7-year-old boy rode his scooter onto Kendall Pond Road, striking the front fender of a passing pickup truck, police said. The boy suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries to both arms.
