Londonderry woman missing

LONDONDERRY — Police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing Londonderry woman.

Barbara Martineau, 69, was reported missing about 8:30 a.m. Thursday after traveling to Nashua to meet with her attorney, according to Lt. Tim Jones of the Londonderry Police Department. He did not know why she was meeting with the attorney.

Later that morning, the department received a call from police in Manchester after she was spotted in that area, asking for directions back to Nashua, Jones said.

Although Martineau has not been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, her family described her behavior as out of the ordinary, Jones said. They also said she had a "fading memory," he said.

Martineau is 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray and plaid flannel top, black pants, and a pink knit hat. She was driving a blue 2005 Mercury Mariner.

Anyone who has information about Martineau is asked to call the nearest police department. Londonderry police can be reached at 603-432-1118.
