Motorcyclist hurt on Route 125

NORTH ANDOVER — An unidentified motorcyclist suffered serious leg injuries after a collision with a pickup truck shortly after 5 p.m. yesterday.

The motorcyclist was driving south on Osgood Street when he collided with a pickup truck that was making a left turn out of Chadwick Street, according to police Lt. Charles Gray. The motorcyclist was transported to Lawrence General Hospital.

The accident is being investigated by Officer Michael Gilligan. Traffic on Osgood Street, which at this location is part of Route 125, was slowed down for at least 15 minutes while police investigated and cleared the scene.
