Armed robbers strike in Andover

ANDOVER — Two masked men, at least one of them armed with a gun, robbed a woman of her pocketbook last night, police said.

The robbery happened at Main Street and Punchard Avenue at around 9:30, according to Lt. John Pathiakis. The woman was being interviewed by detectives at press time, the lieutenant said.

He said he did not know the age of the woman. No suspects had been identified as of last night, he added.
