Girl, 15, injured after being struck by car

NORTH ANDOVER — A 15-year-old girl was transported to Lawrence General Hospital after being struck by a car on Route 125 last night.

The extent of her injuries was unknown, according to police Lt. Charles Gray. The accident happened at 8:30 p.m. on the northbound side of the highway, about 50 feet from Pleasant Street, he said.

Police could not release her name as of press time.

The accident is being investigated by Officer Jason Wedge.
