Truck rolls over on Willow Street, North Andover

NORTH ANDOVER — An 18-wheeled tractor-trailer rolled over on Willow Street this morning, trapping and injuring the driver.

The driver was extricated by around 11:45 a.m. and taken to Lawrence General Hospital for treatment. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The truck was hauling flour, which did not spill.

Tow company workers said they were concerned about righting the truck and rupturing its fuel tanks. As a precaution, part of Willow Street will remain closed until the vehicle can be uprighted and removed.

Willow Street runs through an industrial park off Route 114.
