WINDHAM — The 3-year-old daughter of state Rep. Richard Ockerman has died after being pulled unconscious from a swimming pool yesterday afternoon.
A family friend identified her as Gabriella "Ella" Ockerman.
Police this morning said she died early today.
Police Capt. Michael Caron said the drowning was apparently accidental, but officials are awaiting a report from the medical examiner.
Gabriella's mother is Jessica. Gabriella has a sister, Micheala, and a brother, Nick.
The Police and Fire Departments responded at about 4:30 p.m. yesterday to the family's Marblehead Road home.
The toddler was in the above-ground pool at least five minutes, officials said.
Gabriella was taken first to Parkland Medical Center in Derry, then Elliot Hospital in Manchester.
