Two ejected after Interstate-93 accident

LONDONDERRY — A high-speed crash sent two people to the hospital Monday night.

Londonderry fire Chief Darren O’Brien said a Honda del Sol collided with a granite embankment in the median on Interstate 93 South at around 9:30 p.m. The collision ejected the driver and passenger from the vehicle.

“One occupant was found lying in the high speed lane,” O’Brien said.

O’Brien said both people in the vehicle were transported to Elliot Hospital in Manchester. He did not name the victims or a cause for the accident.

O’Brien said 10 firefighters responded to the scene Monday night, in addition to mutual aid from the Derry fire department.

The New Hampshire State Police was investigating the crash yesterday. They did not comment on the crash when reached.
