N.H. Teacher of the Year is from Windham High

WINDHAM — New Hampshire's teacher of year is Windham High biology teacher Bethany Bernasconi.

There were lots of tears, hugs and applause at the surprise announcement in the school auditorium earlier this morning.

The announcement was attended by about 700 people, who gave Bernasconi a standing ovation.

Bernasconi was praised for her passion about education and commitment to students.
