Guns, cash, heroin, cocaine seized in separate drug busts

LAWRENCE — Detectives pulled handguns and illegal drugs off the street Wednesday in two separate investigations.

After an investigation at 21 Exchange St. late yesterday afternoon, detectives made numerous arrests and seized $3,330 cash, heroin, cocaine, cell phones and .38 caliber handgun and ammunition and three vehicles, according to a report by Detective Shaun McLellan.

Enrique Santos, 31, of 21 Exchange St., #2, Lawrence and Arthur Pudims, 35, of 33 Elm St., New Market, N.H., were both arrested and charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition after a drug bust at Santos’ apartment.

Santos was also charged with illegal possession and distribution of cocaine and heroin. Pudims was additionally charged with improper storage of a firearm and knowingly being present where heroin is being kept.

Victor Ambert, 29, of 323 Howard St., Lawrence was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine and illegal possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Ashley Welch, 27, of 13 Fairway Drive, Derry, N.H. was arrested and charged with illegal possession of heroin and Paul Richards, 32, of 6 Laraway Ct., #2C, Derry, N.H., was arrested on two outstanding warrants for driving an unregistered and unlicensed motor vehicle.

Wednesday morning, Nathanael Tirado, 23, of 6 Falmouth St., first floor, Lawrence was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm, a .22 caliber nickel plated revolver, improper storage of a firearm, trafficking heroin, trafficking cocaine and unlawful possession of ammunition, according to a report by Detective Ryan Guthrie.

Detectives made the arrest after executing a search warrant at Tirado’s residence. Police also seized cell phones, computers, heroin, cocaine, digital scale, cell phones, $220 cash and ammunition.

House break: 464-466 Hampshire St., Televisions, speakers, living room tables, lamps reported stolen, 1:41 p.m.

METHUEN

Arrest: Michael Paul Loiselle, 29, 9 Essex Road, Bedford, N.H., possession of class A, 96 Pleasant Valley St., 12:12 p.m.

Shoplifting: Rite Aid, 176 Haverhill St., 6:37 p.m.
