A caller alerted police to a firearms violation at a residence on Stonington Street on Monday morning, Lt. Charles Gray said. Detectives obtained a search warrant, entered the home and found two rifles which had been reported stolen, Gray said.

The detectives then obtained an arrest warrant for Brandon Anthony Yebba, 27, of 32B Stonington St. He is charged with two counts of receiving stolen property, two counts of possession of a firearm without an identification car and illegal possession of a Class E drug.

Yebba, who was not home when police officers visited his residence, is believed to be incarcerated in New Hampshire, according to Gray.
