More North Andover cars broken into, police say

NORTH ANDOVER — More unlocked vehicles were broken into Thursday and Friday nights, according to the police log.

In many of the incidents, nothing was stolen from the cars but the perpetrator rummaged through the owner’s belongings.

Vehicle break-ins were reported Friday on Raleigh Tavern Lane as well as Winter, Farnum and Summer streets. Change was stolen from a vehicle parked on Jerad Place on Friday night or Saturday morning, according to the log.

Unspecified items were stolen from cars parked on Sunset Rock Road and Fernview Avenue either Friday night or Saturday morning.

All of the violated vehicles were unlocked, according to police.
