Georgetown teen charged with kidnapping

An 18-year-old Georgetown man was arrested in Hudson, N.H,, yesterday morning and charged with kidnapping a 13-year-old girl.

Hudson police found Justin Rossi walking with the girl on Lowell Road just after 9 a.m., after police in Pepperell issued a missing child alert for the girl on Saturday, according to a press release from the Hudson Police Department.

"While attempting to take the juvenile into protective custody, Rossi assaulted the officer," reads the release.

Rossi was charged with kidnapping, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and violating a protective order.

He was being held at the Valley Street Jail in Manchester on $10,000 cash bail until his arraignment in Nashua District Court tomorrow.

Hudson police released no additional information on the incident last night.
