At least one passenger ejected in I-495 roll over

HAVERHILL — At least one person was thrown from an SUV in a roll over crash on Interstate 495 this morning, State Police said.

The crash happened at about 11 a.m. today near the Route 125 overpass on the southbound side of 495. A Nissan SUV involved came to rest facing the guard rail on the right side of the Interstate. The rear window was shattered and clothes hung out of the back.

State Police troopers and a crash reconstruction team were on site. The left lane was closed, as was a portion of the right lane.
