Methuen man charged, held in indecent assault

METHUEN — A Lowell Boulevard man facing five counts of indecent assault and battery on a child was ordered held without bail in Lawrence District Court yesterday.

Domingo Gonzalez, 66, 601 Lowell St., was ordered held until Nov. 22, when he is scheduled to appear in court for a dangerousness hearing, according to Essex County District Attorney spokeswoman Carrie Kimball Monahan.

Gonzalez was arrested Friday at 2 p.m., according to Methuen police.
