Topsfield man badly hurt in crash

NORTH ANDOVER – Besides the crash on Salem Street that killed a man early Sunday morning, the police reconstruction team is also investigating a Bradford Street accident Sunday afternoon in which a man suffered serious injuries .

A 2012 Audi Q5 crashed into a tree at 4:10 p.m., according to police Lt. Charles Gray. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to remove the driver, George Sullivan, 52, of Topsfield.

Sullivan was transported to Lawrence General Hospital. There was no further update on his condition.
