Letter: Ives is right choice for 1st Essex District

To the editor:

We talk all the time about politicians who are in it for their own self-interest or for the interests of a few “special” groups of constituents. Those of us fortunate enough to be living in the 1st Essex District have a unique opportunity to elect someone who is truly in it for us.

Kathleen O’Connor Ives has a genuine concern for the well being of the people in her district and will use that as her sole guide while working tirelessly — and full-time I might add — as our state senator.

Please do the right thing and help send her to the Statehouse.
