Letter: Lights on for safety

To the editor:

When driving in the evening and it is starting to get dark, I put my headlights on to see better. I notice that most other drivers also put on their lights. But many drivers do not.

Apparently, they think they see well enough without turning their lights on. But they should realize that, if they put their lights on, they can be seen by other drivers more easily.

Cars coming off a side street looking to enter may not see a car, especially a dark car, coming down a street without its lights on. This could possibly cause an accident.
