To the editor:
Recently, an article was printed regarding another instance of the removal of God in our country usually by a single atheist. Millions of Christians are offended but can’t reverse it. What is wrong with this picture?
The politicians in Washington have their own super medical benefits and are exempt from Obamacare. What is wrong with this picture?
Corruption in all levels of government is out of control and being totally ignored. What is wrong with this picture?
The Constitution is no longer prevalent in our government. What is wrong with this picture?
The president is controlling this country with the use of his czars and executive privilege, no longer needing Congress and the Senate. What is wrong with this picture?
Air Force One, which the president has the privilege of using for official business only, is now used for vacations and campaign trips throughout this country. And if you will notice, the American flag has been removed from the tail and has been replaced with Obama’s insignia. What is wrong with this picture?
Obama is determined to bankrupt our country and establish a socialistic culture in place of free enterprise. What is wrong with this picture?
I could go on forever about the immigration problem, the misuse of welfare, etc. What is the force behind all of this?
I’ll tell you. It’s us. We are like sheep being led to slaughter. And we are disillusioned or just don’t care as long as we are getting our “entitlements,” whether we deserve them or not.
Wake up, America. You have no idea what will happen in the next four years under this present administration. I don’t want to see our once great country of ours be destroyed from within.
The reverse of the deficit trend will be painful for all, but if we start from the top and all the fat cats in Washington pay for their medical benefits, eliminate all of the perks, and be paid for performance as in the free enterprise system, well, it won’t hurt quite as much knowing that the ones at the top got the first hit.
We are not a godless country yet, but if the present trend continues, we possibly will be.
In God we trust, for with God everything is possible. And with God’s intervention, we will succeed. So pray, my friends. Pray that the hearts of politicians revert back to the Constitution, and not personal power and gain.
